Working on Broadway is exciting and engaging but unfortunately not all theatres are built to accommodate one-off video production and becomes a give and take exercise in working with what’s ultimately possible with the building. Moonshine assisted ‘Apples & Oranges’ to bring the 2018 Jimmy Awards to the screen and at the same time – a multi-camera switched show to YouTube. We offered-in broadcast fiber to connect cameras delivering a totally new approach – unavailable to the production previously. The icing for our team was the chance to work at the ‘Minskoff Theatre’ on Broadway (home to the Lion King) working amongst strangely familiar props in such a prestigious place added a whole new dimension to the project.
